My practice

My name is Aronn and I’m a professional psychotherapeutic counsellor, and member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

When it comes to having therapy, one of the most impactful and essential elements is be in the presence of someone who helps us feel safe, and accepted as we are. Someone who is compassionate, and understands us through their own lived experiences.

When I work with my clients I meet them wherever they are at in their lives, and respect what is best for them. We work collaboratively to move towards what they would like achieve from having counselling or psychotherapy.

Professionally, I trained as a person-centred therapist and this forms the foundation of my therapeutic approach.

Where appropriate I incorporate trauma-informed mindfulness, psychoeducation and work in an integrative way.

I have experience working with a wide variety of clients, whose challenges include anxiety, depression, addiction, neurodiversity, PTSD, childhood trauma, sexual trauma, health issues and more.

Whilst it can be useful to identify and place labels on the specific challenges that we’re facing, I believe that human beings are wonderfully complex and everybody experiences a wide variety of presenting issues in their lives. These issues do not have to define us, if we do not want them to. We are all so much more than the specific challenges that we face.

Please feel free to ask if you have any specific questions about my qualifications, my training or my experience.

My client’s often say how warm and welcoming my therapeutic space feels. It was built and designed just for just this purpose - it is private, comfortable and safe.
